Educational Qualification
The advertisement accepts a bachelor’s degree with at least one of the prescribed subjects or an eligible engineering degree. The subject list includes Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Forestry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Zoology and Environmental Science, along with Civil, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
A candidate should verify the precise wording in the advertisement when the degree title is interdisciplinary or when eligibility is being claimed through an equivalent qualification.
Age Limit
Age is determined from the date specified in Advertisement No. 03/2024. Category relaxation is available under Jharkhand rules. The date of birth entered in the application must agree with the matriculation record, and reservation or age-relaxation claims must be supported at document verification.

The walking test is qualifying. Candidates must satisfy the distance and time prescribed for their category and gender in the recruitment rules. Medical or physical eligibility is checked separately from written merit.

Forestry and Environmental Areas
Important areas include forest ecology, silviculture, forest management, mensuration, biodiversity, wildlife, soil and water conservation, social forestry, agroforestry, forest protection, climate change, environmental law, forest policy and the institutions responsible for conservation.
Jharkhand Application
Link the syllabus with Sal forests, plateau ecology, protected areas, elephant corridors, human–wildlife conflict, mining pressure, forest-dependent communities, minor forest produce, watershed management and restoration of degraded land. These examples make descriptive answers precise.
